This CD, Michael's CD of cover songs, is one of the best I own, and I own over 5,000 CDs. His interpretations of songs by artists such as Steve Earle, the Stones, the Beatles, Jesse Winchester, and others is pure Michael Stanley. He is one of the few performers who can take other peoples work and match or improve on their performances. Everything on this recording is great but the ones that stand out for me are "Me & Elvis", "Cry Baby Cry", "Dead Flowers", "I Want You", and his phenomenal version of "A Showman's Life". I know that I've said this in other reviews but do yourself a favor and get everything you can by Michael and his criminally under-rated band."
