CD ReviewsSo refreshing! Grateful new fan | 02/25/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "After seeing that Michael Lord's "Smile" was Itunes single of the week, i decided to download the song. I was so blown away by it that i went out and bought the album. It was worth every cent... each track proved better than the next! Songs like Bleed and What Have You Got To Lose? are great (and necessary) additions to the music world and truly deserve to be hits. It is so refreshing to find a pop/rock album with meaningful lyrics and poignant melodies. I have had Sway in my car on repeat and can't get enough! If only all the music out there nowadays were up to par! Five stars all the way." Check it out Livin' in L.A. | 11/16/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "After hearing that my favorite tv show, "Alias", is featuring the song "Bleed" from this CD, I bought a copy to check it out for myself and was not disappointed. Michael Lord is a talented musician and fine singer. There are some sure hits on here, but even the songs that I didn't love at first got to me on repeated listenings. If, like me, you are in the mood for a fresh new pop sound, buy this CD. Michael Lord is the real deal. " "Sway" - ing my emotions Kate | 02/28/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "In a time of heavy, we need a dose of light. Whether it be in a melancholy rock ballad or a twist of lyric that makes us "smile." Michael Lord has the rythmic sensibility to sensitize the listener into a hypnotic state of melody and a conscious sound of harmony. I found his music to be completely new, yet it has the vibe of something painfully nostalgic. It aches to be scored to film and dramatic television. I can't wait to hear more and I look forward to his jump to the big screen. Thank you iTunes for spotlighting this new and bright young star."
