Eleven of the tunes on this CD are solo performances on The Chapman Stick by veteran Stickist, Michael Kollwitz. Captured live to digital format, these tunes have not been overdubbed or edited. This represents the pure sound of the amazing Chapman Stick stringed instrument at its best- in the hands of a truly skilled player. In addition to the eleven solo tunes, Michael recorded two jazz tracks with master saxophonist, Arthur Trinchera. The Stick and sax were made for each other, as you will hopefully hear soon.
