Digitally remastered two CD set containing a pair of albums from the '70s Soul outfit: Philadelphia Freedom (1975) and Summertime (1976). These two chart albums were mainly written and produced by PIR chiefs Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff, in league with the top PIR arrangers Bobby Martin, Jack Faith and Dexter Wansel (who also wrote, produced, arranged and provided synthesizer solos). MFSB (Mother Father Sister Brother) was the collective name given to the group of studio musicians and backing singers who provided the backing for all the Philadelphia International recordings.
