CD Reviews

I Disappear Great Soundtrack
Kevin Trotter | El Salvador | 06/18/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I Disappear is a great sound track for Mission Impossible 2, and the video is also great. One of Metallica's best new songs."
Metallica's Greatness
04/04/2003
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Maybe I'm a little naive, but this seems to be a new direction for Metallica. I know there are die-hard fans out there who like the old stuff, the head-banging, floor-trembling live performances - but I Disappear is, to my mind, the best yet.
The guitars are a perfect blend of traditional thrash with genuine talent. The lyrics are growled out by Hetfield, proving he still has it. He never lost it. This is not a cheesey come-back like so many mid-80's bands have tried to do, not a display of an impending mid-life crisis upon Metallica's members, but a single that they took to with equal vigour as the good old days of Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightning. Metallica are Greatness, and if they churned out more songs like this one I would vote Hetfield for President."

"I think this song is the greatest. It has great heavy metal guitars and is a very addictive song.I think anyone who doesn't like it should shut up.And think to yourself "Am i really a heavy metal fan?""
