"Actually there are only a few tracks of Memphis Minnie, standing up to the mike, belting that electric guitar and wailing in 1949.The album is a good selection of 1949 seminal Regal recordings and needs to be in any really comprehensive blues collection.And the price of admission is paid for by a single track IMHO - the most exquisite ever recording of Vicksburg Blues by the great great great Little Brother Montgomery."
