"I feel lucky to be one of the first people to know Melissa Rapp's music, because I'm sure that everyone is going to in a few years. I'm not sure how to describe her music, because she has a style all her own, but when you listen, you'll want to draw a favorable comparison to talented women from Dar Williams to Liz Phair to Sarah McLachlan; Melissa does everything from quiet ballads to rocking songs that are hard to not dance to.



Her lyrics combine intelligence, insight, raw emotion, and vulnerability, and her music is catchy and enjoyable without ever being trite. I would recommend this album to anyone."
