"I was formerly not a very big fan of Melissa Etheridge. I have always thought that she is very talented but her music never struck a chord with me until I heard this song. The lyrics struck me as so beautiful and personal that I could not help but love it. My favorite line is: "..If they knew you at all, Then one by one the angels would fall..." What a wonderful way of saying how much you love someone!"

"From the onset," Angels Would Fall", the drums start us on a upward march and does not let us down. Melissa's soulful voice once again does high honors to the lyrics that are truly celestial. Her strong vocal ability is reflected in a way we have not heard before, urgent but draped in soft velvet, allowing the result to be very pure and calming."
