"The Melismatics deliver the goods on the Acid Test, their 4th release to date. Pop sensibility, strong hooks, super-tight playing, hard-edge guitar, powerful rhythms... this release delivers it all.

Produced by John Fields (Switchfoot, Jimmy Eats World, Soul Asylum) the sonic quality is very crisp. This is the first release featuring Pony on vocals, guitar and keys. Pony and (husband) Ryan Smith trade off vocals during most of fthe songs which adds a nice contrast and for some great harmonies.

If you're looking for the meaning of rock n Roll in 2008 (and beyond) go no further. I think that you will not be disappointed."
