"When I heard a couple of songs from Tomegan Gospem on Aboriginal Voices Radio here in Toronto, I knew I had to get the cd. After listening to it I'm going to have to get a copy of Mawio'mi. Paul Pike and Medicine Dream have done an outstanding job on this one. As a Ktaqmkuk Mi'kmaw it is wonderful to find music such as this which speaks to me not only generally as a native person but also more personally as a member of the Mi'kmaq Nation. This album is a must-hear for both for Natives and for those wanting to learn about the way Natives see this world of ours."
