Music Lover | alexandria, va | 11/07/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "I first heard Meaghan Smith at a small and local music venue called the Birchmere, which is known for hosting a variety of performers, but always fantastic ones. She was the opener for another act but she was by far the highlight. She has a sound that reminds me old records my grandma has. The music is very 1940s with a simple piano, with highlights of clarinet and a harp. Meaghan Smith's voice is just as beautiful and unique as her accompanying music. There are only 4 songs on this cd, so downloading the digital version really is the best way to get your money's worth. But, WOW is it worth it! I can't WAIT until she comes out with more music, as it really is one-of-a-kind. Note: if you like this unique "old-time" mixed with modern sound, check out Bitter:sweet as well."
