"I've been listening to MF since the early 1970's, and while this album will not equal the raw power of the old MF Horns (Give it One RULES) Maynard and the orchestra have adapted to fit the times, new flavorings, and the sound is pleasing. I especially like the arrangement of the title track, a powerful start, nice ensemble sections, and a good treatment of an old standard. Granted, not a lot of well-known selections on the album, but it's an easy listen."
