It is rare for a young artist to be given the opportunity to curate an album, without restrictions or limitations. I am truly grateful to the Sono Luminus team who trusted me and encouraged this exploration of my most personal experiences, as an ever developing musician and as a human. I think among today s oversaturated musical offerings, the ones which stand a chance to reach our audience s hearts and ears are those stemming from a place we know as home; a place where ghosts of past, present and future watch over us and allow us to tell their stories. Early Departures tells the story of some of my ghosts and, by doing that, tells my story.
