Can't you hear the banjo voices drift from shore, often haunting, but sometimes rumbling a tune that coaxes you to jump up and dance barefoot? Here are fresh arrangements of our favorite traditional tunes from America, Scotland, France, and Germany, played in many different tunings on six different banjos. Tracks 1, 3, 10, 12 & 13 are recorded on a Goldtone Elite Classic set up with the finest gut strings known to man. Tracks 2, 7, 8, & 15 are recorded on my new custom Deering White Shell Laydie. (This is the only model in the world ) Track 9 is recorded on a Lo Gordon, Cedar Mountain A2.
