"Ever since I first heard Mary, I've been literally addicted to her voice. I can listen to her over and over & never get tired of hearing her. I purchase ALL of her domestic CD's & I even purchase her imports. There could NEVER IN LIFE be another Mary J. Blige. I really appreciate her honesty & I really understand all the various changes she's gone through to get to the point of real love such as what she has with her husband Kendu. I really am delightfully happy that she found her real love and her everything & she is the epitome of what I want in a wife. I truly love you Mary!!!!!! The song "Be Without You" is definitely one of my classic favorites from the album The Breakthrough, and that is exactly what Mary has done. I wish that Mary would collaborate with the artist AKON because there is a chemistry that the two of them share when it comes to pain & struggle., and I feel that if they would make a song together about love, it would absolutely blow me away. (smile) I wish too that Mary would remake Etta James classic "AT LAST". She has the pipes to do so. Other people that I would like to see Mary collaborate with include Ralph Tresvant of New Edition & old school rap artist D Nice, amonst many others., but back to the song Be Without You, I feel like the song is a "wake up" call for all the fellows because life without love is really distressing, and many of us fellows arent at all eager to show love, because we are afraid that we are going to become emasculated, & that is the reason we take women through the traumatic changes that we do. I recently heard a guy say that he was sick of this song because all the ladies locally were making it their theme song for their current relationship. Fellows! This is my exhortation to you: Being REAL is more than flunting your masculine energy around your peers. What you fail to realize is that while you are trying to "front" for your boys, your boys are doing the same thing in reference to you, and no one is getting anywhere except further down the road to stupidity. I know that this is a bit deep for us to grasp, but it is the ultimate truth! Mary recognizes that we all have a need for love., which is the reason why she constructed such songs as "The Love I Never Had", "Sincerity", "Love No Limit", "Everyday", "Don't Go" and several others. I personally think that some of her best tracks include "So Lady", "Girl From Yesterday" & "Misty Blue" . Mary, I wish so much that I could talk to you. I promise I would ask you some of the most intelligent and profound questions of your career. Thanks Amazon for allowing me the chance to render my personal review."

"I just sometimes can never seem to tell when a artist hits the nail on the head with a good sense of R&B & Hip Hop. That has been the case with Mary J. Blige. She has really been one of the most unpredictible artists who has a great example of both sides and can still carry a tune well. Her latest single is a perfect Hip Hop Soul blend. Be Without You, the firsy single from Mary's latest record The Brakthrough is a really great soulful pop song. It is just a real surprisingly delightful track, that captures her voice beautifully. I definitely was quite amazed when I just heard this for the first time. This is a pretty good song from somebody who wanted to get rid of her drama for years, and still carries the song to the end.
