""A Bridge Over Time" is a beautiful collection of songs which have become favorite melodies for people across many generations. From George Gershwin's "Someone to Watch Over Me" to "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from The Lion King, these inspired arrangements bridge eight decades. The magic of Mary Beth Carlson on the piano leads the elegant piano orchestrations that include performances by world-class musicians on the oboe, flute, English horn, harp, cello, soprano sax, and guitar.

Other favorites of mine on the CD include "Feather Theme" from Forest Gump, "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes", and "The Long And Winding Road". While most of the songs on the CD may be very well known, Mary Beth's original arrangements maintain the beauty of the original song while at the same time making it sound new and fresh.

Two original compositions by Mary Beth are also featured on the CD --- "A Bridge Over Time" and "Canon In D / Rings Of Love". I especially enjoy "Canon In D / Rings Of Love". The beauty of the song will have you playing it over and over again!!!

For anyone who enjoys the music of piano orchestrations, you are sure to enjoy the beauty of Mary Beth Carlson's music on this CD."
