With his latest release, "The Next Level," Marty teams up with DJ Shakin Melodiz and takes his music to "the next level." Shakin Melodiz' DJ influence is evident as soon as you put the cd on with "No Mo' Slippah pt. 2," which is reminiscent of Sudden Rush. The song "Can't Let Go" is a perfect blend of Marty's reggae rap against a smooth R&B groove. "You are the Church" has a more traditional reggae feel, and should be a favorite of reggae fans.
