"Martin Taylor is an amazing musician. I was fortunate to see him play where I live, it was a mind blowing 2 hour concert, just Martin, solo.

From the moment he picks up the guitar, his mastery over the instrument is immediately obvious. In the entire concert, there was not one note out of place. His music is elegant, tasteful and refined. By carefully listening to him play, you can pick out the subtle nuances in his playing, that he uses to create the right mood for each song. This album is quite like that. "Solo" is a tastefully created album which I never get bored of listening to."

"Martin Taylor is so good that company just fouls the nest. Producers may want to lard a CD with guest appearances, but I find, that with few exceptions, that destroys the product. This is all Mr. Taylor, and it doesn't get any better than that. He is such a pleasure to listen to that you would be well advised to add this one to your collection."
