A generously filled CD of Martin chamber music is an attractive proposition. But a long succession of these spiky yet lightweight pieces doesn't work as a good listening program--after a while they all start to sound the same. If you have the restraint to play only one or two of these at a time, you'll find this an attractive program, especially since the presence of budding piano superstar Marc-André Hamelin proves an accurate indication of the quality of the performances overall.
