"This cd finds Marti Brom sounding similar to Patsy Cline, however Brom swings a bit more, and her band falls in the lines of western swing and rockabilly, or hillbilly boogie. In any case the music swings, and brom has a full lucious voice and the band is exellent. Fun music."
Fantastic album

"This album is a killer !
And the backing band - the Barnshakers - are fantastic.
Check their new album as well. I'm looking forward of the new
album "Wise To You" by Marti Brom"

"What you have here is a great rocking record from a great gal based in Austin. Marti does not come across as a screeching banshee like so many of the modern rockabilly ladies do. She has a smooth and strong voice and great taste in songs. This is a great record by a great talent!"
Give Marti a listen, you'll be glad you did.

"I got this CD after hearing "Blue Tattoo" on a streaming radio show. That track is worth the price of admission, but the rest are just as outstanding.
Brom sings like she means it, from fun tunes like "Eat my Words" to the achingly beautiful "Blue Tatoo". The comparisons with past greats like Patsy Cline are apt, not because of the vocal similarity (yes, it's there) but because of the way she plunges in to each song.
I'm no rockabilly fan, but Marti Brom is worth checking out even if you don't follow the genre. She's that good."
