"Thanks to DRG Records for reissuing these two mega-rare Mark Murphy albums with a beautiful booklet. Finally we have the hip, swinging & crooning early Mark on CD. But next time, people at DRG, take better care, why did you mess up the running order of the CD? It differs from the one printed in the booklet! Ever heard of proofreading?"

"I have to admit I partially bought this for the campy 60's cover and the fact that the DRG re-issue label rarely dissapoints, content wise.(and wow Mark was a LOOKER back in the day!)I expected a passably good lounge act, but holy cow Mark really SWINGS! He's right up there with the best jazz singers of that period in my opinion. And he's still doing his thing according to his website so good for him. DRG does a good package overall (tho yes, the running order screwup the other reviewer mentioned IS annoying)and the sound quality is great. HIGHLY recommended.
