Synopsis

Product Description
Summer time in Chicago is something to behold. Mark Minelli was coming to this realization for the first time. After the proverbial "forty days and forty nights¨ here was his holy land, and something marvelous had begun. After spending the last eighteen years in Fairfield, OH Mark was slightly overwhelmed by the grandeur of the Windy City. However, it would be here that he would continue to chase his ever elusive dream of being a professional musician. Gift Horse, is the debut from Mark Minelli. Gift Horse will tear open your mind and sing choirs of angels into your brain. It's going to make you move and move you. "Mark is a new breed of folk singer, infusing his acoustic stylings at times with Spanish and Classical rhythms while maintaining the realism associated with his music." - Visions and Revisions

CD Reviews

Nice!

"Some say it's rare people go buy music CDs these days. Being a German resident it sometimes adds to the hassle of getting my hands on real media. Some companies offering mp3 don't allow you to sell an album again.

Candyrat Records [...]did offer online, but for ease of things I ordered real media via Amazon. Delivery was fast... and there's no need at all to sell the album again, i'll keep it playing 'till there's physical wear! ;)

Excellent inspiring music, unobtrusive - the stuff you might listen to in Japanese elevators one day - way better though! lol

"This is one of the best artists I've come across in the past few years. Really. Each and every song is tastefully done, there isn't a single one that I ever skip. There's a good variety too, lot of feel good mellow songs, but there's a few upbeat / fun songs mixed in. I love it cause they'll get stuck in my head and I'll be singing them all day, but I never grow tired of them. They all have a very unique feel, he's got a very original sound going on, very rhythmic. Pretty mindful lyrics as well, he has an interesting way of putting things. This is 9 bucks well spent, I'll be listening it for years and years to come. I don't even do any reviews, but I had to for this one since it's so dang good!!"
