"Mark Hummel and the blues survivors support the great legends Jimmy Rogers, Eddie Taylor, Mississippi Johnny Waters and Luther Tucker on this time travel disc back to the early eighties and nineties. Strong performances by each of these legends, recorded live and kept in Hummel's vault until now. The guitar work of Luther Tucker who played with Little Walter among many other Chicago blues stars is a high point, but the rare tunes by Mississippi Johnny Waters as well as the standout work by Jimmy Rogers and Eddie Taylor make this a classic chicago blues CD. Hummel's harp work is right in the pocket as he supports the legends on the road. These were the real guys and this is the real thing. Five bottles and a side of ribs..go for it!"
