"HIGHEST RATING! A magnificent achievement.
The House to which Mark DeVille Jobson refers in the title of his CD is the theatre. This musical feast embraces the theatre's best: Stephen Sondheim, Rodgers & Hart, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Leonard Bernstein, Noel Coward and Cole Porter. The title song is a rarely heard jewel from Bernstein's Peter Pan, originally starring Jean Arthur. Jobson makes it almost prayer-like and it is bliss. He even manages to make you listen to The Sound of Music with new ears. One rarely heard gem is Cole Porter's Wake Up and Dream, a song that should be a standard, and Jobson is just the man to deliver the goods."
