"Billy Joel once sang, "A bottle of red, a bottle of white...it all depends upon your appetite." Whichever you choose, whatever your mood, Mark Cassara's LET'S TALK SAX will fit the bill splendidly. Whether it's the romantic scenario of a late night picnic on the beach or the exhilaration of an open mountain road, Cassara's got you covered. The first single, "Je Vous Aime" is pure musical velvet. With each note Cassara wraps a sultry blanket around his listeners, filling them with a contented tenderness. The aptly titled "L.A. Cruise" will have you putting the top down, setting the cruise control higher than the speed limit and setting off with no particular destination in mind (although, to be honest, when was the last time you were actually able to cruise through L.A. without hitting traffic?!). My personal favorite is the vibrant, multi-layered "Africa." Its soaring melody, terrific instrumentation and arrangement make for an outstanding musical combination. "It's All Love" closes and once again Cassara shows us that music can be magically seductive as his tune weaves a web of audio entrapment. Although LET'S TALK SAX is the Rochester, NY resident's debut CD, with thousands of live gigs under his belt Cassara has paid his dues and honed his skills. As Mark himself states, "Music...allows me to go places where few have gone before, and stay there, and create there, and best of all take others there." No doubt about it, when Mark Cassara talks sax...you'll want to listen.~BETH LEWIS"

"Excellent saxophone jazz! I recommend it to jazz lovers. Good jazz is hard to find in many music stores, but Amazon had this one."
