"a lot of my brazilian friends don't like her voice on this cd, but as an american who's brazilian at heart, i have to say i love this cd...especially songs 2 and 4. i've listened to it so much now my cd skips."

"I truly agree with "wordsmule" review on this CD.

Marisa Monte shows us what love is all about brazilan style. Do not get me wrong, this is not "typical", folklore or "world like" music.. Brazil has its own contemporary dimmension in many fields including music... and this is so universal..lets not forget that through internet and Amazon we can have access to this expression that otherwise would be reserved to those priviligied to have the access to this treasures. I live in one of the many countries neighbouring Brazil and its still very hard (and expensive) to locally find brazilian music."
