Lane | Levittown, PA United States | 09/06/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "I always get a big kick out of rediscovering singers who were quite popular in the 50's and 60's. Just one listen to this CD convinces me that Ms. Montgomery's still got it...I remember when she made a couple of great jazz-oriented albums for Capitol.Hats off to the superb rhythm section led by Mr. Laurie Holloway (Marion's pianist/husband) for such rock-solid backing, and to Marion herself for a great song selection...my favorite track is "Mean to Me," which gives Laurie and his sidemen plenty of room to strut their stuff.I hope that one day, Ms. Montgomery's early Capitol albums are made available on CD to her fans (both old and new). This lady still swings!!!"
