"Wow, I thought I'd never see the day that 80's pop sensation ( though very short lived) Marilyn's debut album Despite Straight Lines would ever see the light of day on CD!

First I would like to thank Cherry Pop for these amazing and rare reissues like Dead or Alive- Sophisticated Boom Boom, which I also bought.

However though this greatest hits compilation is amazing, it has one major defect, it does not contain Marilyn's hit single and my favorite Maz song of all time "Pray for that Sunshine".

I understand that Marilyn himself personally wanted the track omitted from Despite Straight Lines, simply because he did not like it.

This is a crime and a shame. Cherry Pop should have told him all or nothing, instead of cheating Marilyn's devoted fans of one of Marilyn's best songs to date.

Like I mentioned before, I bought Despite Straight Lines, but I am extremely dissapointed in it and in Marilyn for cheating his own fans.

It would have been great if it would have included his more obscure, but none the less fantastic song Sooner or Later.

It would have also been nice to be treated to a DVD off all of Marilyn's videos and maybe some live stuff, interviews etc, like Dead or Alive's amazing Evolution, since this stuff is impossible to find in high quality.

Anyway, other than that it's a great buy, but you still feel like something big is missing, like a table with only 3 legs, what a shame."
