CD Reviews

This is a great CD!!!!

"I really like Marco Antonio, he has an awsome voice and of the three CDs of his that I own (not including those by Los Bukis) this is the best one. I never get tired of the songs, this CD is his best. If you like his style and you want to hear him singing a mixture of romantic songs and songs that make you want to dance, get this CD. Its great."
A Buki without his Bukis

"The name has changed but there's not much change in the music. Marco Antonio Solis may as well still be heading up Los Bukis in this album, but that's not necessarily bad. The album is mostly balads and boleros. He does a nice tribute to his Mexican state in "Pirekua michoacana." Anyone who has not seen or heard him live will be surprised at what a low voice the man has as he narrates part of "Mi ultimo adios." If you like Los Bukis, you'll like this. If "Trozos de mi alma" is more your style, you'll find that this album comes up a little short."

"OOPS! Stop the presses on this one! Marco Antonio Solis is a great Latin hearthrob who knocks you out with lush Spanish ballads and Boleros. Someone goofed-the songs are not the mis-listed great American songbook gems listed incorrectly. However, hell, if Rod Stewart can sing Jerome Kern and Irving Berlin, Rogers and Hart-Marco could damn well do it! In fact, he would be a smash singing those chesnuts and knock himself into USA pop charts too. Forget Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, Pavorrrati or Josh Groban-I can see it now: The way you tip your cap, the way you sip your tea"-Marco sings Gershwin. I'd buy that one myself!"
