Very nice debut album

"I first heard about Malyssa on Wild 94.9 in San Francisco with her single "Reminisce". I heard this song everyday on WILD and couldn't stop singing along to "I Reminisce, over you."Since hearing "Reminisce", I've been wondering, what's next? When her label dropped a new single called "By My Side" I became very intrigued because I like that song too! Then I found out that her debut album was available on October 1st, so I picked up Malyssa's album at Tower Records, popped it in my car and listened, not knowing what to expect.In short, I was blown away at how easily her songs stayed in my head! With each song having a sure-fire hook, I have in-turn become hooked! Great dance beats and beautiful ballads to beat!My favorite songs are "Reminisce", "By My Side", "Crazy" and "Here With You" - all dance tracks that had me dancing in the front seat as I drove home! I couldn't stop dancing! As the album progressed, I was surprised that she also included some ballads that really reeled me in, including a slow jam version of "Reminisce".As I listen to the album more, I hope that she'll be able to be heard more on the radio - Malyssa's album is awesome! In the meantime, her album will be in high rotation in my Civic!So that's my humble review.:)"

"Malyssa's debut CD is one of my favorites! This girl can sing! I heard Tonight on the Import Jams compilation CD and Reminisce on the radio and I really enjoyed listening to both of these songs. I couldn't wait for her album to come out. When I received my copy of Reminisce, I became "hooked" on her first track, Crazy. This is a great dance song which I think should be on the radio. The other songs are great. The types of songs on the CD are dance, slow jams, and ballads, which is a rare combination. I also like the Slowed Down version of Reminisce, I Love You, and A Place In My Heart, which features Drey Silva and Jose Penala as background singers. (These two are from a new group, 6th Day, which has former members of KAI, Innerlude, and DnH.) This CD is a great addition to my collection and I highly recommend that others buy this CD as well."
