I have most of Waldron's records and all those which have received a high rating in these pages. All I can say is that this to me is simply the best of them all. There is a variety and a strong blues pulse throughout. The high point is the amazing "Seagulls of Kristiansund" which has stellar performances from Waldron, Lacy and Schoof. Absolutely stunning!"
