CD ReviewsI thought I was there picture goer | 10/03/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "Well, I wasn`t there. But you can`t help feeling that wonderful experience after you hear this performance of Mozart 29 and Klemperer`s signature Mahler symphony 2. Everything seems just right as if you`re on your first date and all goes well. From the opening bars of the applause, you can feel the electricity coming on. And within the first ten bars of the Mozart you know you are sharing with everyone else an inspired gush of music that will transport you to another plane. Klemperer was simply Klemperer and the music clearly shows his mastery and understanding of the music. The players are playing their hearts out for him and the singers are having a good time. I think am having a real good time right now listening to the music. Enjoy."
