Magical Strings' tenth album, Legend of Inishcahey, is a captivating collection of instrumental brilliance inspired by journeys to Ireland and beyond, combining their distinctive blend of Celtic harp, hammered dulcimer, whistles, valiha (Malagasy bamboo harp) and concertina. Harper/composer Philip Boulding and wife Pam are joined by two family members on violin and 'cello on this sea journey from Ireland's mystic past to the iresistibly danceable influences from Madagascar, Jamaica and Morocco.
