"This is a middle-of-the-road compilation of Quebecois folk music. Having grown up in Montreal, I got to learn and sing many, many traditional and more contemporary folk songs which I grew to love and appreciate as an adult. While this album contains some great jigs and reels, the variety is kind of lacking. You must really, really, REALLY like jigs and reels to be able to sit through this album. A few ballads would certainly not have hurt this collection. But, if you do like Quebecois music, this isn't a bad one to add to your collection for reference."

"I wish this CD wasn't so hard to get. For those of you educators out there, Music or not, and you teach dance. . .this is the perfect cd to go along with your Canadian dances. Filled with upbeat dance music, I know you and your students will love listening and moving to this CD. Maybe if more people will buy it, it will be more readily available."
