These bro's can sing! vonfore | Fresno TX | 07/09/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "The Cleveland Oh based Men at Large, a group discovered by Gerald Levert, came with their sophomore album in 1994 and it was bumping right away. I just pulled this cd out of "archives" and it took me back to that spot 10 years ago when I running the streets and doing my thing before I literally settled down!
My favorite songs on this cd are: Holiday, where the guys talk about everyday of the year being similiar to a holiday.."its a holiday, its your special day..its not Christmas, Thanksgiving or Valentines... Good things dont last Dont Cry, featuring Gerald Levert and Keith Sweat Feet Wet..I dont wanna fall in love, I just wanna get my feet wet...let me hit it, let me get it!!! First Day...ever since the first day I met ya, I wanted to hit it..(I wanted to hit it) but you wasnt it with...I promised it that I'll keep it on the d-low I wanna roll, which is a smooth mellow song with a good background beat for slow dancing or two stepping Funny Feeling and of course, Will you marry me, which is a classic, classic song.... this is a very good CD..I would say 10 of the 12 songs could have been radio hits....wonder what happened to these brothers." |
