CD ReviewsUnknown classic if no reviews here a reader | Gloucester MA USA | 07/31/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "Not so much the other tracks but the Wuayacananga Suite,by far the longest track on the album,is worth checking out.It really is afro-cuban in the sense that it starts out african with some native authentic sounding vocal calls digging it in anticipation of what's to come.Then a solo drum booms out Bom-Bom-Bom,(each Bom getting deeper)This rhythmn- beat stays under and through the Suite.Then the instruments come in and the piece gradually moves from afro chant/song to cuban jazz with a melodic urgency.It is also great to dance to.I love jazz (that doesn't get so abstact we loose the story )and latin jazz so i had to put my two cents in about this one because it's a real turn on."
