"Well, I read your review, but I have been familiar with M for 4 years now, and of course, it doesn't hurt that I'm French. I've seen him in concert and followed him from bar strong audience to a bazillion people. Damn, I have to share him now! And we also go to the same grocery store which causes me to pass out on a regular basis. Second album is great - he was overheard saying he tried to put too much into Le bapteme, but that Je dis aime is more mature (sic almost). Also a very amazing performer, a great musician who was too insecure about his voice to do his own stuff, he was the main guitarist for many French musicians before he started opening his wings, thank the goddess.
I truly adore the guy, sense of humor, music, style and all.
I'm gonna go rate Je dis aime now."
SUPERB³! Give it an extra star - ignore the screen >^-^

"W0W What can I say, except I wish there was a better way to point out really amazing CDs like this one to the general public, whereas no-one is probably even going to read this comment. It's sad, because this is definitely one album that deserves to be 'commercialized', even exploited and over-advertized to the point of a senseless craze. Every single person I have played this to, and my circle of friends have radically opposing tastes in music, instantly fell in love with every single track. A twenty-eight hour drive from Johannesburg to Cape Town and back again probably saw this record being played at least twelve times, possibly more. It's nearly impossible to get tired of the soothing tones and intelligent nuances that are never pretentious and always playful. It's like diving into a wonderful childhood of an eccentric magician, and a pure joy! Too bad samples of the tracks can't be heard (hint hint Amazon staff ;)"
Listen to this album at all costs!
