Award-winning Mexican singer-entertainer Luis Miguel is old school in his near-falsetto tenor delivery and new school in the way he packages and presents his golden voice for today's fans. There's lots of synths and strings, and any other artist other than Miguel could get easily lost in this sonic sauce, but he manages to pull it off most of the time. Thematically, this recording picks up where his 1985 release, Canta in Italiano, left off, as he revisits several Neopolitan-flavored songs.
