Product Description
Canadian soprano and conductor Christine Howlett studied at the University of Toronto, where she earned a BM in Voice Performance, and at Indiana University where she earned a MM in Early Music Vocal Performance and a DMA in Choral Conducting. She is an Assistant Professor of Music at Vassar College. As a soloist, Ms. Howlett has performed throughout the United States and Canada. In 2011, she made her operatic debut at Symphony Space in Richard Wilson's opera Aethelred the Unready. British-Mexican violinist Patrick Wood Uribe studied Modern Languages at Oxford University, violin performance at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and holds a PhD in Musicology from Princeton University. As a chamber musician and as violinist in The Chatham -Wood Duo, he has performed widely throughout Europe and the United States. His debut CD of unaccompanied works by 17th century composer Thomas Baltzar [MS1224] was released on MSR Classics in 2008 to critical acclaim. He is currently Assistant Professor of Music at Boston University. Pianist Holly Chatham has performed throughout the United States, United Kingdom and Mexico. She is pianist in The Chatham-Wood Duo, which was founded in 2004, with violinist Patrick Wood Uribe. Ms. Chatham holds a DMA in Collaborative Piano from Rutgers University, a MM in Early Keyboard Performance from Indiana University, and a BM in Piano Performance from Clayton State University. She is currently a Vocal Coach and pianist/ Early Keyboardist at the Institute of Sacred Music at Yale University.
