Howling punk-blues-rock

"This Atlanta quartet plays punk rock that wets the rebellious roar of garage rockabilly with the spittle of mid-70s punk flippancy. With Patrick A howling away on vocals and Chris Koby Downs known to slap a standup bass, the band rocks with the intensity of Iggy Pop dropping into Chess for a session with Willie Dixon, or maybe the Pretty Things advanced a decade forward from the original British invasion into the late-70s punk rebellion. A howling blues good time from start to finish. 3-3/4 stars, if allowed fractional ratings. [©2006 hyperbolium dot com]"
