"let's say that I love Sonata Arctica and Dream Theater, and I was a long time Iron Maiden fan. Tired of listening the same bands over and over again, I searched in each and every corner a new band. It took quite long, I listened more than 100 CDs hoping to find that band that could satisfy my musical apetite...



Hopefully, during the search I haven't ignored this one, despite the CD cover which is well designed but reminds me more a manowar album and I was trying to avoid that... anyway, after listening to the music, CD cover could have been a little bit more epical like latest sonata arctica albums covers. So don't get fooled by it.



From the 100 CDs I listened to, It was very easy to take this one into consideration: I listened to "Pure" and instantly realized that it is one of the best metal tracks ever, and told me enough at the moment. This band is like the other reviwer said, a kind of Manowar mixed with Dream Theater progression, and I would add that it has a little of Sonata Arctica spice too. Not to mention that despite the sound style being old fashioned, the melody compositions are quite modern, lets say, the step beyond that other metal bands failed to make. Sound quality of the recording is very good.



About the rest of the CD, there's no song that would make you jump to the next one. All is listenable, maybe the outro and intro are just to make the album a little bit more artistically so the listener doesn't take it as a simple and direct metal band. So I think its good to have intro/outro there."
