"I heard this CD while shopping in a gift shop, overheard Corcavado,I had to know who was singing, Of course, they sold the CD at this store. I loved it from the firt moment! I had never heard of Lorraine Lawson. I wish there were more CDs .Her voice is beautiful,melancholy,.Masquerade is done with great style.I would love to hear more from her.Where is she?I've introduced this to my family,they love it too."

"I heard Lawson's version of Masquerade playing at a gallery in La Jolla one day and absolutely had to own it. Couldn't tell you who sang the original, or if I even liked it. Lawson makes this song entirely her own. I wondered how the rest of the songs on the CD would compare, bought it, and was thrilled to find not a dud on it. Makes for very mellow and sophisticated background music. Just don't be surprised if the chatter at your dinner party lulls because your guests want to stop and listen..."
