Great Music Still Exists!

"These days it's so hard to find great music, much less mediocre. Music is such a huge part of my life, so for me the current state of ' music ' is very sad indeed. Now I've always been a big War fan so when I happened across this disc, I must admit I was a bit hesitant. The sole reason, admitedly, was I figured there'd be an effort to somehow fuse hip-hop/rap into this project. But hey, it was after all Lonnie Jordan, right? So I picked it up and played it. And I played it again. And again. It's now on it's 10th rotation and this is without a doubt the BEST music I've heard in years! Kudos to Lonnie! EVERYTHING on this disc is fantastic! The new twists on the old ' joints ' are excellent. The interludes are superb and the takes on ' Get Down ' and Jimi's ' Third Stone ' are simply awesome!

I've got to spread the word on this one. If you're a War fan or just enjoy really great music ( REAL LIVE instruments and vocals ) you've got to get this one! ASAP !"
