London Jones Will Have You Listening "Over And Over"

"Vocalist London Jones first appeared on the New Jack/Hip-Hop/Urban release House Party 2 [Original Soundtrack] in 1991 with "I Lust 4 U." In 1994, MCA released Jones' debut, For You, which featured top-knotch producers Keith Miller, Melvin Riley Jr. (lead singer from Ready For The World), D'Wayne Wiggins (former member of Tony Toni Tone, and brother of Raphael Saadiq), Ronald Isley (lead vocalist of the Isley Brothers), Sean "Sep" Hall (brother of former Guy members Damion and Aaron Hall), and London Jones himself heavily contribute. The two released singles, "Joi" (peaked at No. 70 on the R&B charts) and "Save Our Love" will no doubt satisfy fans of the Urban sounds. Though Jones' debut and only album to date is often overlooked, the material isn't exceptional but it is a very pleasing effort that deserved much more attention then recieved."

"With a list of producers and other personnel longer than a greedy child's Christmas list, the unevenness of this album is somewhat disappointing, but the beautifully atmospheric "I Lust 4 U" is better than most teen music of the period."
