"Locale AM is an awesome band out of the East Bay of California. Their first 2 albums, Groove Heros and Before You Knew Me, got me hooked on this 5 piece "pimprock" band. Their live show is uncomparable to the cd, as well as other live bands in the area. They leave the audience exhausted from jumping, dancing, and shouting the lyrics along with them. The Sounds of Spring is a cd that best describes the band. They are talented young boys with great ambition to go very far in the music world. The songs on the cd leave you amazed with such lyrics that Eric Frederic gives us. Such a diverse and dynamic band. Isa is a terrific vocalist and bassist, Steve Yoshii is a quiet fellow but a hell of a guitar player, Daveed Capstick is a fantastic drummer, leaving you amazed with such talent, Renee on turntables, piano, LP drums, and vox is a funny guy with such a talent. I love with he did with the piano on TSOS, and Eric, what a voice!? A great writer. But above all I dont think you will ever meet such humble wonderful people.The record leaves you wanting to laugh, jump, scream, and chill all at the same time. I recommend this to all!"

"I have known about Locale since about 3 years ago. I went to my first concert and was amazed. Not only are these guys AMAZING performers, but they are the most awesome guys you will ever meet. I have all of their CD's. . .Groove Heros, Before you knew me, Sounds of Spring, and their brand new CD, The CHaracter EP.They are one of my favorite bands. Right up there with Incubus and 311. Sounds of Spring is by far their best CD. It just shows how talented these guys are. If you live in the BAY AREA, CALI. i highly suggest you try and make a show. Their CD's are awesome, but their shows are even better! They are the most fun concerts you'll ever go to. These five guys lead your journey through numerous musical styles, taking you back and forth and in between until you come to understand and love their self-proclaimed 'pimprock' style.
Lyrically this record is amazing. Your first listen will enlighten you to various memorable, quotable lines, and subsequent plays will allow you to delve deeper into the pain and suffering and joy intrinsic in close relationships.
Highlights include the acoustic pop gem 'Raver Girl', the rockin' out 'Nintendo Hands', and 'Buddha Rock'. Definitely worth the buy, Locale A.M. delivers a record to put in your player and play straight through."
