The real LL

"This is is my favorite release by LL cool J besides the first album Radio. This album follows the same format of the first a lot of dope boom bap with one love song and one song about a girl. This version of LL is hungry, spits lyrics, and just isn't soft. The way he is spitting the lyrics and the way his voice sounds you can tell he was in the booth giving everything that he had to make the songs/album dope. That is the LL I know and love. The current LL that makes 90 percent of his albums love fluff with wack guest appearances is horrible. Even his love songs during this era are more hip hop than the one's he drops now. Ah well, if only he could return to the type of emcee he was on releases like this.
