American Airlines? In-flight Audio Entertainment featured Lives of a Cell?s song "Waitin? For You" from their "Only Human" CD. The band was heard by approximately 2 million travelers on over 21,000 flights. Lives of a Cell?s first single, "Waitin? for You" charted "up-coming" for months on music trade Gavin Report?s Adult Contemporary chart. The song received coast-to-coast radio play from Catskills, New York to Lake Tahoe, California; Casey, Illinois to Texarkana, Texas. The song received close to 600 spins a week. Gavin also featured the band in two separate profiles. Lives of a Cell was nominated in nine preliminary round categories for the 38th Annual Grammy Awards (Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, Best Pop Album, Best Instrumental Arrangement with Accompanying Vocal, Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, Producer of the Year). Their debut CD/EP also appeared in the monthly Grammy Awards Guide for NARAS members.
