"Patricia Thelma Amphlett, OAM was born on 17th March, 1949 in Paddington, Sydney, Australia. Whilst it is often considered that the nickname Little Pattie came about by the fact that she was born on St Patricks Day, the honour lies with some beach going friends who named her so because of her stature. First single 'He's My Blonde Headed Stompie Wompie Real Gone Surfer Guy/Stompin at Maroubra' released November 1963 when Pattie was 14 years old. Reached No 2 in the Top 40 after the Beatles "I Wanna Hold Your Hand. This album of 20 tracks covering the years from 1963 - 1969 is a great representation of her career and the surf craze that had hit Sydney at the time. Little Pattie became the youngest Australian entertainer at 17 years of age to entertain troops in Vietnam. Still maintains a busy performing schedule.
