A Runaway No More

"As a member of The Runaways, Lita wanted to play heavy metal. "Out For Blood" is Lita's first solo effort, which provides heavy metal/hard rock songs that rock 110%, such as the title track and "On The Run". One of my favorite tracks is the ballad "Just A Feeling". Also especially noteworthy is "Rock 'N Roll Made Me What I Am Today", which is a story of Lita's teenage years in The Runaways. This album displays Lita's guitar goddess talents splendidly, I love it!"

"The first track, "Out For Blood", is the best on the album! It's pure-raw power! As a whole, the album is a listening experience that perfectly denotes the sound of the 80's. I have it on Tape and later got it on CD. It must be out of print now and that probably explains the prices. It's worth the money. Consider it a part of Metal history. Many people only know her from her latter releases but her first solo is definitely the hardest and most memorable. It's a shame that the "Best of" releases don't completely cover her entire catalog and to me, they don't do her justice!"
