"This cd is really great! I enjoy the deep, rich and dreamy qulaity it conveys with such simple and sophisticated understatement. There is a haunting quality to this music and some songs almost sound like mantras!"

Lola CUKI burns bright but runs out of steam.

"Lisa Dewey's Lola CUKI has enough subtle ideas and raw talent to insure an intense ride through her relationships and loves without belaboring the universal language. Lola Cuki's styles bounce around from one influence to another and at times it can be distracting. Although Lisa's voice keeps you from passing from track to track, the length of a few songs can get tiresome. The repetiton of vocal lines and very few noticeable changes to the hooks tend to numb the excitment of her talent. Althought it has the potentual to make a mark with other top female singer/songwriters, Lisa Dewey's need for better production, and smarter arrangements keeps Lola Cuki form being a contender."
